Unlike literally everyone else in ceramics, I decided to not be lazy in the 2 weeks we didn't have access to the kilns because in my mind, ceramics is a privilege and nothing could make me sit around and do nothing in that class for two whole weeks. So when we finally did get access to the kilns recently, I had A LOT of things get fired. Of course there were a lot of casualties for everyone due to things on the cart getting broken, after sitting out for two weeks but I had an 80% survival rate so that made me happy. Ready for it (although the picture does really give it away...darn)? I had TEN projects come out the kiln at once. Ten. 10. What.
So yeah, I spent all week glazing. Surprised? I'd say not. Anyways, LOTS of shiny stuff to glaze in the next few days so yay!
